A DIFFERENT KIND OF GAME NIGHT
A mystery for you. A clue for your friends.
Put the pieces together, wherever you are.
BETTER TOGETHER
Choose 2 or 4 players. Send your private invitation link to your partner or friends.
Each player gets different evidence. Talk in the same room or over your favourite call app.
Compare stories, share your theories, and submit your answer together. Everyone has a part.
THE CASE FILES
A SMALL DISAPPEARANCE. A HOTEL FULL OF SECRETS.
The master key has vanished. A special guest arrives in less than an hour. Three staff members had access—and your team has four different pieces of the story.
No payment. No download. Just a good mystery.
*Timing is an estimate; this first edition is being playtested.
A snowbound hotel. An empty room.
A guest who never checked out.
A broadcast cuts short.
The silence tells its own story.
The train never stopped.
One passenger still disappeared.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
We’re creating a collection for many more nights together.
BEFORE YOU INVESTIGATE
Yes. Everyone opens the same invitation on their own device. Talk through Messenger, WhatsApp, Discord, or a regular call. Alibi Night does not provide built-in voice or video.
For this free prototype, nobody needs an account. Choose a nickname and join. Your browser saves your room access. Keep that browser’s data to return to your game; there is no account recovery yet.
Your progress is saved for 30 days. You can return on the same browser. The competitive timer keeps running during breaks and disconnections.
Only the host can opt in after solving. The public board shows the team nickname, adjusted time, hints and team size. First-play eligibility is self-declared by every player. No prizes. Hints add two minutes each; incorrect theories add one minute each.
Nicknames, team names, clues assigned, shared notes, game actions and timing. No email or payment details are collected. Browser access tokens act as room keys: keep them private. IP-derived hashes are used temporarily for abuse limits. Rooms expire after 30 days. Your hosting operator may also keep standard server logs.
